Formed in 1976, the Tooele Valley Mosquito Abatement District is a special district charged with the mission “To protect the public’s health from vector-borne disease and nuisance, through a comprehensive mosquito control program focused on innovation, experience and efficiency.” We serve 600 square miles of Tooele County including; Grantsville City, Stansbury Park, Erda, Lake Point, and Stockton Town.
The Tooele Valley Mosquito Abatement District (TVMAD) is a public health agency. By utilizing the most efficient, reliable and scientifically sound mosquito control techniques, TVMAD is able to reduce current mosquito and vector-borne disease issues while maintaining surveillance for future emerging diseases.
Tooele Valley Mosquito Abatement District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
